Small Group Class_The more, the merrier

1:1 classes are where you and me go deep and personalize everything to maximize your learning. Small group classes, on the other hand, are for those who enjoy that “the more, the merrier” energy.
But don’t worry, it’s not a crowded classroom kind of situation. In this group setting, you and me and a few others at the same level will:
• Learn from each other’s mistakes (not just your own)
• Practice real conversations together — not just with the teacher
• Feel less pressure, more natural speaking flow
• Still get corrections, guidance, and structure from me
Not too many people → so you still get to speak
Not just 1:1 → so it’s more dynamic, more fun, and more affordable
If you’ve been looking for something effective and budget-friendly, just leave your info and I’ll reach out to you.
Available courses
Not everyone learns Vietnamese for the same reason, and not everyone starts from the same place. Some people want to survive daily life in Việt Nam as quickly as possible, while others want to build deeper, more natural communication over time.
That’s why my courses are designed as a gradual journey, helping you move step by step with clarity, structure, and real-life practice. Whether you are completely new to Vietnamese or already comfortable having conversations, there’s a learning path that can meet you where you are right now.
Take a moment to check in with yourself and choose the course that feels the most natural for your current stage and goals

- Flash Vietnamese for Travellers (A0-A1) → I want fast results
- Vietnamese Pronunciation (A0) → I’m just starting (A0)
- Survival Vietnamese (A1) → I know some basics (A1)
- From Survival to Real Conversation (A2) → I can hold simple conversations (A2)
- Confident Communicator (B1–B2) → I’m more comfortable speaking (B1+)
Take a moment to check in with yourself and choose the course that feels like the best fit for you.
My lessons are structured but flexible, so we can always learn, adjust, and fine-tune things along the way to make sure you get the best mix that works for you.
Before We Begin
My approach is simple: we start by understanding where you are now, where you would like to go, and how learning Vietnamese can fit naturally into your daily life. When the path is clear and the pace feels comfortable, progress becomes much more natural and enjoyable.
My lessons focus mainly on listening and speaking, real-life Southern Vietnamese, and personalized learning built around each student’s goals. From the very beginning, you are guided step by step with clarity and structure, so improvement feels steady, meaningful, and sustainable rather than rushed or overwhelming.
If you already have clear learning goals, that’s great, we simply work toward them together. If not, that’s completely fine. We will take the time to clarify your goals and shape a learning path that feels practical, supportive, and right for you.
1. Goal Clarification Survey
Before we begin, you’ll receive a short goal clarification survey. This helps me understand your learning goals, background, previous experience with Vietnamese, and your learning habits, including what may have slowed your progress before.
This step ensures that our to be lessons are designed intentionally from the very beginning, not based on assumptions.
2. First Session – Getting Aligned
A free trial sessions is always available. It’s a space for you to explore and experience how we’ll work together. This can be a standalone 30-minute free trial, or we can place it right before the first lesson of your registered course, please choose what works best for you.
What We’ll Do in this session:
- Get to know each other
- Talk through your goals, work or study background, and learning preferences
- Try a few simple speaking activities to understand your current level
- Walk through how the course is structured and how we will learn together
- Have a short Q&A for anything you’d like to ask
This trial session is all about you — your learning style, your pace, and what makes you excited to learn Vietnamese.
3. A Clarity Start
You will always understand what we are working on, why it matters, and how it connects to your daily life.
Lessons are guided step by step, corrections are given thoughtfully, and your progress is tracked in a clear and supportive way.
We use a simple learning cycle: Present – Practice – Produce – Review. This helps you build on what you already know, instead of feeling like you are starting over again and again.
After each lesson, you’ll receive a few simple practice tasks. They’re designed to help you review, remember, and use Vietnamese naturally in real life. These tasks may focus on revisiting previous knowledge, consolidation, reflection, real-life application, reinforcement, or gentle exploration — never busywork, always with a purpose.
From day one, you are not navigating the learning process alone. You are guided with structure, care, and intention — so your progress feels grounded, steady, and meaningful.
Trust me, if you’re at A, take my hand, together, we’ll leap to B. 💛
What’s else I can offer for more
You know, a few hours in class are never enough to really get a language. So, besides every lesson, let’s find ways to actually use what you learn, in any way that’s convenient for you. I’m always be there to help with, including (but not limited to):
- Meaningful Assignments: No busywork — every task has a real purpose.
- Goal-Oriented Tasks: Different types of tasks to target different skills.
- Supplementary Materials: Online quizzes, review exercises, recap files to strengthen your learning.

That’s why you’ll have a personalized progress tracker to document your learning journey, recording all the main points from each session. Day by day, your growth will be clearly tracked—so you’ll always know what you’re doing well and where to focus next.
- Ongoing Support: Slack chat with replies within 24 hours. You won’t just have a tutor — you’ll have an actual companion, a guide, someone walking this journey with you
- A Friday Chill hang out every week: I’m also running a Chill Hangout for expats & locals every Friday at 8:00 PM here in Cần Thơ. It’s a two-way exchange, a space for learning, sharing, and connecting with both locals and other expats. So it’s, of course, an ideal place for you to actually use your Vietnamese in real life. If this sounds fun to you, you’re more than welcome to join us!
We’ll keep adapting along the way, based on your learning pace, feedback, and interests. It’s your journey, I’m here to guide you to your destination.
